***INCLUDES THE FIRST 2 CHAPTERS OF SYSTEMATIC SIEGE PART 4***

Part 1:

Life separated us.

Destiny tied me to her.

Obsession drove me mad.

I knew they all hurt her. What I didn’t understand is how deep . . .

Seven years ago, they ripped her from me—my father. The friends I made at school. Jealousy drove all of those bastards into conspiring against us.

And they won.

I almost killed myself after losing her.

Now I live for only three things:

I will destroy everyone who hurt her.

I will find her.

I’ll become the biggest monster ever known to accomplish those things.

I’m at the head of my father’s empire now. A corporate king. I’m ready to finally put in place the plan I’ve been working on for years.

I’m ready to find my Lexi.

What I didn’t realize is that she had already found me.

Part 2:

How far are you willing to go for revenge?

I’ve agreed to enter one cesspit of bullsh*t, just to escape another much worse.

But that’s okay. As a matter of fact, I’m more than ready to deal with the consequences. After all, using one enemy to destroy another is just what I need to right all the wrongs in my life.

Or so I thought . . . until I hear Andrew Drevlow’s voice roaring my name and realize one cruel fact:

I’m not over him.

I never was.

Are you willing to destroy yourself in the name of payback?

My path is set. I have no choice but to go through with my plan. I can’t allow myself to be swayed just because I’m still attracted to a man.

The same man that once betrayed me.

The same man that once fooled me and humiliated me for his own entertainment.

The same man that sets my soul on fire.

That doesn’t matter. I’ll use him.

And when I’m through with him, there will be nothing left of the man he once was.

Part 3:

How far are you willing to go for the one you love?

I finally have her back.

She’s no longer the same girl I once knew.

Shattered, ruined, her sad eyes tear me apart every time she stares at me.

I know who hurt her the most. She won’t tell me; she doesn’t have to. I know.

Seven years of waiting for an excuse to destroy Stephen Menahan, and now I have one of the best reasons I could have ever been given.

Are you willing to destroy yourself to get them back?

It doesn’t take long for me to realize that I don’t just have to fight to win Lexi’s forgiveness—I have to fight to help put my girl back together.

Menahan deserves to suffer.

Menahan deserves to die.

I’m coming for him, one systematic move at a time. I’m going to deliver my girl the vengeance she deserves.

The vengeance we both deserve.

And that starts with ending Menahan’s best friend, his constant ally in crime.

First on my list?

Barnard Wellington. A man that was once my best friend as well.

And I know exactly how I’m going to kill him.

The wealthy don’t have time to grieve.

It’s a lesson my father drilled into my head over and over throughout my life. When my dog died. Again when my grandma died—both of them.

Yeah, he didn’t let me grieve the death of his own mother.

If he mourned her, I have no clue. No one does. We never saw any sign. He just went about his business as usual.

He’d been a strict authoritarian, that one. Among other things.

I wonder if all those years he was busy drilling the lesson into my head, he’d known it would one day apply to his own death.

Food for thought, huh?

Well, in case there is such a thing as an afterlife, I want you to know old man, that I learned the lesson very well.

I’m sitting here, at the top floor of the skyscraper you built, in what was once your office—an office that rec...
